Wizarding - A Harry Potter Group presents… The British and Irish Quidditch League Tournament Giveaway

The Harry Potter group Wizarding is hosting it’s end of term event. Normally, this includes a ball or festival held in the roleplay forums. However for the current term, we have decided to hold a Quidditch tournament giveaway that is open to members and non-members alike!

To enter in this giveaway, all you need to do is fill out the Quidditch tournament bracket provided above with who you think will win each round! You can either do this directly on the image (by editing digitally or printing/scanning) or you can write out the game number with who you believe the winner will be. For instance, Game 1 is between the Aberdeen Al-mi’raj and the Wigtown Wanderers. If you think the Wanderers will win, you can list either “Game 1 - Wigtown Wanderers” OR fill out the space in round 2 on the bracket image.

As you’ve probably noticed, there are some new additions to the league! During a previous terms, we had each house invent a new Quidditch team to try out to be part of the British and Irish league. For our tournament, we have decided to include all four teams to compete! The teams are the Aberdeen Al-mi’raj, the Bexhill Badgers, the Belfast Bludgeoners, and the Llanfair­pwllgwyngyll­gogery­chwyrn­drobwll­llan­tysilio­gogo­goch Legion (referred to as “The L. Legion” on the bracket for short.)

Tournament brackets must be submitted by posting them here by Saturday, March 25th at 10:00PM. This has been extended to Wednesday, March 29th! At that time, the results of each game will be posted.

Any user that correctly predicts the winning team will win an item from our group vault (consists of mage amulets, magical keepsake boxes, SBTQ invites, etc.)

The user(s) that correctly predict the most games will split 50,000,000 sP. For instance, if there are 2 users that correctly predict all 17 games, they will each win 25m (plus an item for predicting the overall winner).

Other random prizes will be given out during the week--some are a little more random than others--and there will also be other little mini-activities posted in this thread. Wizarding members will earn 15 House Points each for submitting a bracket, plus any additional points earned by doing mini-activities.

I love that Slytherin created a team! I was tempted to go with it but Lenore doesn't follow Quidditch. She admires the Harpies for being all female though so prefers them if forced to choose.
